Football Specific Training With Locations In Calgary & Ottawa

KING Football is a Canadian leader in football specific speed & strength training. Currently KING Football is responsible for training football players from the CFL, CIS, CJFL, High School, Midget, Bantam and Pee wee levels.

KING Football prides itself on running the most complete, comprehensive and proven Football Specific Strength & Conditioning Programs available.

"High School Elite Program"

The High School Elite Program is geared to the High School athlete looking ahead to play post secondary football at the Junior, CIS or NCAA level following his Senior High School season. This is the most complete Football Specific Program available to High School athletes in Canada.

Within the Elite program, KING focuses on developing a players athletic ability through teaching straight ahead running and movement mechanics, proper lifting mechanics with Olympic and power lifts, and position specific and general football skill. Furthermore, KING focuses on improving a players core stability, range of motion and joint stability through functional core and flexibility movements with prehab work to improve shoulder, hip and ankle strength and stability.

Credentials:

  • Bachelor of Science with Honors in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa
  • Masters of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary
  • CSCS (Certified Stregth & Conditioning Specialist) from NSCA (National Strength & Conditioning Association)
  • Certified Level 1 National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP)

Experience:

  • Mentored by Mark Kilam (Former Strength & Conditioning Coach and Current Special Teams Coordinator of the Calgary Stampeders)
  • Has been Developing the KING Football Specific Program for the past 7 years
  • Worked as the Dinos Strength & Conditioning Coach for 3 years
  • Coached 3 years as the Assistant Linebackers Coach with University of Calgary Dinos
  • Volunteered the past 5 years as a Defensive Assistant and Special Teams Coordinator for the Bowness HS Trojans
